The Staff Selection Commission is conducting this recruitment examination to fill up as many as 5846 Constable vacancies in Delhi Police.
The SSC will conduct Delhi Police Computer Based Examination (CBE) from November 27, 2020, to December 14, 2020. The examination will consist of a CBE, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) followed by the Medical Examination of the recommended candidates.
The CBE will be conducted by the SSC in English and Hindi only. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) will be scheduled and conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi.
The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:
- Part-A: General Knowledge/ Current Affairs (50 marks)
- Part-B: Reasoning (25 marks)
- Part -C: Numerical Ability (15 marks)
- Part-D: Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW and Web Browsers etc. (10 marks)
The total duration of the CBE will be 90 minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Final result will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination subject to their qualifying the PE&MT and other conditions stipulated in the Notice of the Examination.
