KEAM first phase allotment list released for engineering, pharmacy courses – Times of India


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first phase allotment to engineering/ pharmacy courses in the state for the year 2020 has been published on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

The allotment is based on the online options filed by the candidates from 30.09.2020 to 06.10.2020 10.00 a.m. through the above website. In the absence of University affiliation orders, four Pharmacy colleges namely Holy Grace Academy of Pharmacy, Mala, Thrissur (HGB), KMP College of Pharmacy, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam (KEB), KVM College of Pharmacy, Kokkothamangalam, Cherthala (KVB), Nirmala College of Health Sciences, Kunnappilly, Thrissur (NEB) are not included in the first phase allotment published on Wednesday night.

As per the interim order from the Hon’ble High court, the new courses in ten self-financing Engineering colleges has been provisionally included in the first phase of allotment. However, the allotment to these courses will be strictly provisional and subject to the final judgement from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. If any newly included courses which is not included in the first phase allotment due to the lack of university affiliation orders or for want of Government NOC will be included in the subsequent phases of allotment on receipt of required orders, an official communication from the commisssioner for entrance examinatons said.

The details of allotment will be available on the home page of the candidate. The candidates should take a printout of the allotment memo, which shows the details such as Name, Roll Number, allotted course, allotted college, category of allotment, details of fee to be paid etc. Those candidates who have got an allotment shall have to remit the fee to be paid to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations as specified in the first phase allotment memo at any of the Head Post Offices in Kerala or by way of Online Payment from 08.10.2020 to 10.10.2020, 5.00 pm in order to accept the allotment. The list of Post Offices is available in the website.

Those candidates who do not remit the fee on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as well as all the existing higher options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases. In the first phase allotment, the students allotted to Engineering/ Pharmacy courses need not physically join the Colleges.

The process of second phase allotment will commence from 12th October 2020 onwards. The candidates who get allotment from the second phase of allotment should join the colleges concerned. Detailed notification regarding the second phase of allotment will be published in the website later.
