KEAM score published, ranks to be announced later – Times of India


THIRUVNANTHAPURAM: Office of the commissioner for entrance examinations has published the entrance score secured by candidates who had attended the Engineering/pharmacy entrance examination held on July 16.

The results are available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can login to their home page through the link ‘KEAM- 2020 Candidate Portal’. Of the 71742 students appeared for both the papers of the engineering entrance examination, 56599 students have qualified under engineering Stream. Among 52145 students appeared for the entrance to pharmacy course, 44390 students have qualified.

Candidates who have not appeared for any one or for both the papers of the test and those who have scored less than 10 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) in each paper of the entrance have been disqualified under engineering stream. Candidates who have not scored a minimum mark of 10 out of the index of 480 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) have been disqualified under Pharmacy Stream. The results of 2094 candidates under Engineering/Pharmacy stream have been withheld for various reasons. The results of such candidates will be released as and when the reasons for withholding the results are cleared.

The Answer Keys of the Engineering Entrance Examination were published on 17.07.2020. Based on a few complaints, six questions were deleted from valuation in Engineering paper 1 ( physics). The score obtained for the remaining 66 questions have been multiplied by (72/66) to determine the score in Engineering Paper I (Physics). No questions have been deleted from valuation in Engineering Paper I (Chemistry) and in Engineering Paper II (Mathematics). Valuation of the OMR answer scripts is computerized and there is no provision for revaluation of answer scripts or re-checking of marks in this system of evaluation.

Those candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination will have to submit/verify the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination (Plus Two or equivalent) for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology in order to prepare the Engineering rank list 2020. The facility for submission/verification of marks online is available in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in up to 10.09.2020.
