Unlike in the past, the entrance rank list of candidates who have opted for architecture course was not announced along the engineering and pharmacy rank lists. The commissioner of entrance examinations has given time up to September 29 for candidates to submit their National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score, which is mandatory for considering candidates in the rank list of students eligible for admission to architecture courses in the state. Subsequently, the architecture rank list would be announced later, separately.
Commissioner for entrance examinations had published the KEAM score of candidates on September 10. The rank lists are prepared by considering the entrance test score as well as the marks obtained by candidates in core subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and a set of other combinations.
Of the 71742 students appeared for both the papers of the engineering entrance examination, 56599 students have qualified under engineering Stream. Among 52145 students appeared for the entrance to pharmacy course, 44390 students have qualified.
Candidates who have not appeared for any one or for both the papers of the test and those who have scored less than 10 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) in each paper of the entrance have been disqualified under engineering stream. Candidates who have not scored a minimum mark of 10 out of the index of 480 (with exception of SC/ST candidates) have been disqualified under Pharmacy Stream.
