Accordingly, the university has considered 50% of the marks that a student secured in the previous semester and scaled up internal assessment marks of the current semester by another 50% to declare the results, which has been hosted on the university’s website
www.mangaloreuniversity.ac.in. If any student so promoted is not satisfied with the result, they are at liberty to reject the same and appear for examination in future.
P L Dharma, registrar (evaluation) in a press release on Thursday stated that students should obtain permission from heads of their respective institutions and inform the university within 30 days of publication of results. Students who have failed will be permitted as a one time measure to complete their semester in the examination to be held next. Results of students whose internal assessment marks have not been submitted, has been withheld.
In all, 43894 students in 34 UG courses offered by the university were considered for declaration of results out of which 20285 students have passed, 13699 students failed and results of 853 students has been withheld due to non-submission of internal assessment marks, Dharma said. The university will shortly announce the results of the final year degree (sixth semester) and PG examinations (fourth semester) conducted recently.
