A total 22,649 students will appear for SHSC at 153 examination centres, while 12,939 students will attend the SOSC examination at 88 centres across the state. Answer papers of SHSC and SOSC examinations will be evaluated at 13 and seven evaluation centres respectively.
The examinations will be continued till September 24. The school and mass education department has urged all the centre superintendents of examination centres to strictly follow the Covid-19 guidelines while holding these examinations.
“Collectors of all the districts have been requested to extend support for smooth conduct of the examinations. Police will make security arrangements in the examination centres,” said school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
Official sources said the District Education Officers will look after the arrangements for sanitization of the examination centres each day after the examination is over. They will also make overall supervision of the examination, it added.
Meanwhile, the department said Plus II Arts and Commerce students can apply for rechecking of their answer papers online by visiting the website of council of higher secondary education (CHSE) from Friday onwards by paying Rs 200 per paper. Last date of applying for rechecking is September 25.
