Applications were invited for plus one in open regular, private registration and special categories. Those qualified for higher studies in the SSLC examination or have passed examinations equivalent to the same can seek admission. There is no age limit for candidates seeking admission.
In the open regular category, students can choose subject combinations in all groups, including science. Select government higher secondary schools would be allotted as study centres for candidates choosing science streams. Such students would get study materials, lab facilities and contact classes on public holiday. For those interested in humanities or commerce streams may apply for private registration. Those who already completed the higher secondary course may choose another combination, under special category provision, without cancelling the former registration.
Online registration to all courses would start on October 12. Applications can be submitted without fine till November 5 and with a fine of Rs 60 till Nov 12. Further details are available on the website www.scolekerala.org.
No physical applications would be entrained at district offices this year. Applications with necessary documents should be sent to the executive director, scole-kerala, vidya bhavan, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram, 12 in two days after the completion of online registration.
