UoH students protest demanding postponement of entrance test – Times of India

HYDERABAD: University of Hyderabad students held a protest within the campus on Monday seeking postponement of the entrance examination that is scheduled on September 24.

Those desirous to seek admission in UoH have a tough choice to make as the University Grants Commission’s national eligibility test (UGC-NET) is also scheduled on the same day. Students rue that the university has paid no attention to multiple representations from political leaders and various student organisations seeking postponement of the entrance test.

The UoH students union held a protest rally to the administrative building. However, the administration is firm to hold the examination on September 24 as officials said that all arrangements have been made and those desirous of appearing for UGC-NET can attempt the exam in December.
